Will W. Adams, Ph.D.
Duquesne University
Will W. Adams received a B.S.
from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill,
an M.A. in Psychology from West Georgia College, and
a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University. He
previously served as a Clinical Fellow in Psychology at McLean
Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Adams is a licensed psychologist
and practicing psychotherapist.
His approach to psychology is integrative, interdisciplinary,
and socially engaged. In his teaching and research, Dr. Adams
is especially concerned with fostering collaborative
dialogue across scholarly disciplines (including
philosophy, ecology, religion, and the arts) and
theoretical traditions (including psychoanalytic, existential, phenomenological,
transpersonal, Buddhist, and social constructionist psychology). Special
interests include ecopsychology, spirituality, meditation,
art and literature, and psychotherapy.
